rockin mi Jimi Hendrix ......
Converse is going back to there musical roots and are paying tribute to
legendary rocker Jimi Hendrix by doing a 3 set series of there own legendary
Chuck Taylor’s! I can definitely see me rocking out in a pair of those denim guys…BLIND!!!
gracefull style
Grace Jones must have been paying attention to the runways this couture season, because she's right on trend with her hairy fringe ensemble. With the manelike hat, furry coat, cutoff fishnets, thong leotard, and punishing heels, it's almost as if Grace couldn't decide between a lion costume and an S&M getup.
Would you wear an outfit trimmed in hair (or hairlike materials)? Or is this look strictly for runways and concert stages?

LeBron James Supposedly Bumped Ryan Reynolds Off GQ’s September Cover
Being Ryan Reynolds must be pretty sweet. He's good-looking, married to a hottie, and wealthy, not to mention has great abs but also looks good wearing clothes. But all his charms were reportedly not enough to hang on to his September cover spot on GQ, a magazine with a wandering eye that settled on someone with more buzz, intrigue, and — let's face it — muscles: LeBron James. GQ won't comment on the issue or hold any awkward press conferences with Reynolds standing despondently behind them to announce this, but sources say James's shoot was in the works for weeks before his Miami announcement.

Feiyue Universe
When I was at school, (...twas long time ago...in the 70s and 80s...) I remember having 3 choices of school shoes. Bata, Fung Keong and WARRIOR SHOES. And the coolest was the Warrior High-cut basketball shoes that I can buy from main-street, Kulai. I wore it from Form 1 up to Form 5.
If you wear a pair of Warrior, you jump higher and you dribble better on the court. If you wear Bata to play basketball, you are a geek. That sounds familiar, no? It was the Nike Air of my time! Well guys, we've been there, done that. And it cost a lot less, our performance shoes!!!

takashi murakami
Takashi Murakami born in Tokyo is a prolific contemporary Japanese artist who works in both fine arts media, such as painting, as well as digital and commercial media. He blurs the boundaries between high and low art. He appropriates popular themes from mass media and pop culture, then turns them into thirty-foot sculptures, "Superflat" paintings, or marketable commercial goods such as figurines or phone caddies.. he a also done work kanye west, britty spears and louis vuitton jus to mention a few ...
Time-less converse
The takkies were not particularly famous until basketball player Chuck Taylor adopted them as his preferred takkie. He was impressed with the style so he became the shoe's leading salesman.
After proposing a few changes to the shoe, the shoe got its current name and Chuck Taylor's signature on its ankle All Stars patch. One change was the switch to nonslip soles. Although classic black is the most popular, Chuck Taylor was himself known to prefer unbleached white high-tops (known in his day as simply "white").
Consumers demanded more variety from the shoe – particularly with respect to colors in order to match basketball teams – so colored and patterned shoelaces became popular to complement the two colors, blacks and whites, available before 1966. Afterwards, more colors and styles became available... since then a lot of designs have been added to the chuck taylor family ....

Abolut Vodka x Spike Lee: Brooklyn
Absolutʼs next edition of their city-themed flavored vodkas, this one a red apple and ginger blend, brings it right to Brooklyn in a big way, working together with film legend Spike Lee on a limited edition bottle design and a video project that brings the borough to life.
Spikeʼs video is an awesome overview of all of the BK, so recent transplants trying to get some cred should take note. Jumping from Mill Basin to Bed-Stuy in seconds, the video is kind of a visual loveletter to Spikeʼs hometown that is sure to make you wish you had your very own stoop to lounge and sip Absolut Brooklyn on.
